Recommended: The End of the Wilsonian Century?

There is a good, thoughtful piece on the National Interest website this morning entitled The End of the Wilsonian Century?  It gives a nice review of how Wilsonian internationalism developed and changed over the years, what worked well and what flaws appeared over time, flaws which, the author argues, led to the Trump election.  The author's position is that we don't need to abandon it, just get more realistic and pragmatic about its application. Worth reading.
